Over the course of twenty years, Katana built one of the top financial planning practices in the United States. By creating a business that ran without her, she was able to retire at 48 to follow her dream of creating a community to help women make smarter life and financial choices. As a Vision Coach, she works with over-40 entrepreneurial women, women who feel “stuck” or are experiencing major changes in their lives like divorce, caregiving or starting a business. Some need a gentle guide and support to get through a tough situation. Others long to achieve big, bold dreams. Katana’s coaching philosophy is built on sound financial guidance, her personal life experience and spiritual teachings based on the Law of Attraction.Katana is the co-founder of SmartWomensCoaching.com – a virtual community and online forum that provides ongoing education, resources, workshops and live events for women in transition, and women in business. In 2007, she and her Advisory Board of Caregiving Experts launched The Designated Daughter Programâ„¢ to help women prepare for helping their loved ones with the aging process. She and her team provide live events, workshops, panel discussions and teleclasses.

Joyfully working from her lakefront home office, Katana spends time with her daughters and husband, and lives her coaching philosophy daily. She is currently managing the building of a home in Panama, where she plans to eventually hold women’s retreats.
